Weston-on-Trent in the Snow

Weston-on-Trent is a beautiful little village where we are moored and after our first heavy snowfall it looked even more stunning.

Tilly and I were out for a lovely canalside walk when the snow started to fall and she loved it. By the time we got home she was ready to have a nap in her favourite place, the warmest spot in Hang Loose

By evening time the snow had settled and was really thick so I could not resist going outside to take some photos.  It looked spectacular and it was so bright with all the snow!

The next morning was a glorious, bright sunny day.  Weston-on-Trent is a beautiful place to be living and even more gorgeous with all the snow.

The following day we made a rare appearance outside before 9.30am!  It wasn’t going to be long before the snow disappeared and Paul wanted to get some drone footage of the snowy canal and river.

We also walked up to the church and took the drone up there.  This is all in the vlog, but here are some of my photos.

Weston-on-Trent is like our second home after spending the majority of the year here, and we love it.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos and there is more on our YouTube channel.
